How to install your Turkey eSIM

About two minutes on Wi‑Fi. Do it at home, before you fly.

  1. Scan the QR code

    Open the order email on another screen and scan the QR code with your phone camera — or type in the manual activation code from the same email.

  2. Label the line and leave it off

    Name it “Turkey”. Keep your usual SIM as the default for now; the plan has not started.

  3. Switch it on when you land

    Select the Turkey eSIM for mobile data and turn on Data Roaming for that line. It connects within a minute.

How long will 30 GB last in Turkey?

For light use — maps, messaging, email — count on roughly 0.3 GB a day. With social media and music it is closer to 1 GB a day, and video or hotspot use can reach 3 GB a day. The scenarios above show what that means for 30 GB.

What happens when the 30 GB runs out?

The connection stops until you add more data. Because our shop stays reachable from inside Turkey, you can top up the same eSIM in a couple of minutes — no new QR code needed.

When do the 30 days start?

When the eSIM first connects to a Turkish network — not when you pay and not when you install it. You can install up to 180 days ahead.

My trip is shorter than 30 days. Does that matter?

No. Validity is a maximum, not a commitment — the plan simply ends when you stop using it. Unused data is not refunded, so choose the size by how much you will use rather than by the number of days.

Can I use it as a hotspot?

Yes. Tethering is allowed, so a laptop or a second phone can share the 30 GB.

Will I get a Turkish phone number?

No, this is a data-only plan. Your normal SIM stays active for calls and SMS, and apps such as WhatsApp keep using your existing number.
